MAYAN LUXE VILLAS – LATEST NEWS
brett and jodie are excited to announce they are building 4x rammed earth, sustainable villas AT mayan farm!
MAYAN LUXE villas NEW accommodation – NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Please note: building does not affect our current accommodation offering for guests
Sustainable luxury
We have commenced building four rammed earth villas for new luxury, sustainable retreat accommodation on a separate part of Mayan Farm, overlooking Kin Kin Creek and surrounded by a myriad of nature-based experiences.
Each bungalow will include a ground floor area of 80sqm comprising two buildings – a living and kitchen area and a bedroom area.
Using the natural construction material rammed earth with recycled and plantation timber and glass, wide eaves, a 5 degree skillion roof, water tanks and an enviro-septic treatment system, the infrastructure is being developed in a sustainable manner to provide a unique luxury accommodation experience.
Like at Mayan Luxe Villas existing accommodation, the fixtures and finishes of the new villas will be luxurious and bespoke. Owner Brett will custom-make from recycled timber the majority of the furnishings including beds, tables and chairs.
Located on an existing pad historically used for horse activities, there will be minimal effect to the land and no vegetation will be removed for the development. This is a small scale, low density development that protects the environmental and rural values of the area.
Ideally located the new villas will serve as a base for visitors to explore the region. They will be encouraged to do so in a sustainable way and experiences provided for guests will include electric bikes, farm- to-plate dining experiences, buggy farm tours, kayaks to explore the Noosa Everglades and local creeks and doorstep access to the Noosa trail network for hiking and biking.
